Learning through Computer Programming
Do you
want your children to apply their knowledge of Mathematics and Physics to solve
interesting problems in Graphics and Animation?
Do you
want them to work in a fun-filled environment that challenges their creativity
and analytical and logical thinking skills?
At SPARK Institute, we use Computer Programming
as a medium of learning for children of Standards 5 to 10. We design and teach Computer courses for school children. We use environments like Scratch,
Logo, and Alice
that have been specially designed for children; they are simple and
entertaining, and yet very powerful.
Power of Programming
Our aim is
to show children how they can harness the real power of the computer by
learning to program. We want to show them how they can use the computer as a
powerful assistant to draw graphics, create interactive animation, play with
words, or solve math puzzles.
Through a
series of innovative and fun-filled courses and project activities, we want to:
- Introduce children to the
highly enjoyable and intellectually satisfying activity of computer
programming
- Help children discover that
the computer is a powerful and flexible tool that they can use in their
own favorite subject.
- Make a positive impact on
children's interest in "difficult" subjects like Math and
Physics.
- Help children enhance their
power of thinking, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Help children put into practice their natural
creativity and love for learning.
